Thiru Subramaniam Temple of Auckland was established by New Zealand Hindu Temple
Society in 1996 and the founding members are Mr Jeevan Siva and Mr Ilango Krishnamoorthy.
The temple is situated at 69 Tidal Road, Mangere, Auckland. The temple is open from 10.00am to 1.00pm and 6pm to 9pm every day. We are happy to say that we conduct all poojas and abishekam for Murugan, Ganesha, Sivalingam Thirupathi Venkateseara/Balaji, Iyyappa, Amman and Navagraha. Daily arathi will be at 11 am and 7pm.
Special poojas are conducted on every Sankatahara Chathurthi, Sasti, Prathosam. Apart from Temple pooja and aarathani, we do community service under the name Aalayam Community Service. Some of the activities are:
Every Saturday, Radio Program at 8.30am on Planet FM104.6 under the name Aalayam broadcasting spiritual discourses and song Under the ACS Sports Club we conduct cricket matches for our youth every week. Indoor cricket during the winter and outdoor cricket during summer.
We are conducting class for children under the name Aalayam Cultural and Languages School teaching children devotional songs and Tamil, every Saturday from 3pm to 4.30pm Every year our member denote Blood and conduct an Environment Seva Day.

Other organisations like Vedanta Study Circle, Saibaba Temple, Ramayan Mandil use our Temple for their bajans and spiritual discourses, every week.
